Analysis of the BDGIM Performance in BDS Single Point Positioning

The broadcast ionospheric model is mainly used to correct the delay error for single-frequency users. Since BeiDou global correction (BDGIM) a novel BDS-3, its performance was analyzed through single point positioning (SPP) in this study. Twenty-two stations simultaneously receiving B1C, B2a, B1I and B3I signals were selected from International GNSS Service (IGS) Monitoring Assessment System (iGMAS) tracking networks SPP experiments. differential code bias (DCB) parameters hardware delays of B1C B2a. results showed that BDGIM performs best high-latitude areas, can effectively improve accuracy compared with Klobuchar model. average 3D four civil reach 3.58 m areas. accuracies northern hemisphere are better than those southern hemisphere, 4.60 m. also shows some seasonal differences. on days spring equinox winter solstice, while opposite true summer solstice autumn equinox.
